Features

The MAPI course trains future Real Estate Planning and Development Managers, giving them the skills required to rapidly take on positions of responsibility at companies in the property development sector, in prominent and highly sought-after positions as planning managers, land developers, property development planners, marketing directors, sales directors, and so on. In their work, they will be expected to take the lead in managing all types of real estate projects, including residential housing, holiday homes, retirement homes, investment property, tourist residences, serviced accommodation and finally corporate real estate.

  • Carry out land prospection
  • Estimate a building plot’s value and planning potential
  • Organize a construction project from a financial and technical perspective
  • Project manage and market a property development programme and provide the after-sales service

WORK RELEASE

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

For our postgraduate work release programmes, we welcome applications from students with a recognised 3-year undergraduate qualification in real estate or at least 1 year of relevant business experience.

COURSE STRUCTURE & DELIVERY

24 months work release
1 week in School / 3 weeks in-company

FULL-TIME (Year 1 entry)

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

We welcome applications for entry onto Year 1 of the full-time Masters programme from students with a recognised 3-year undergraduate qualification, but without any previous experience working in real estate. Successful applicants will follow a refresher course lasting 1 semester prior to starting their work release.

COURSE STRUCTURE & DELIVERY

6 months of lectures, seminars & workshops (Full-time study semester) +
18 months of work release (1 week in School / 3 weeks in-company)

FULL-TIME (Year 2 entry)

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

We welcome applications for entry onto Year 2 of the full-time Masters programme from students with a recognised 4-year postgraduate qualification, but without any previous experience working in real estate. Successful applicants will benefit from a 1-year accelerated programme of study.

COURSE STRUCTURE & DELIVERY

6 months of lectures, seminars & workshops + 6-month internship
Full-time Year 2 entry students do not follow a work release study programme
