Course structure and delivery
Career opportunities
Real Estate Business Managers work on behalf of private or public clients whether they be individuals or business organisations. This work involves dealing with transactions, managing, providing valuations or getting the best possible return on investment for their clients’ real estate assets. They also offer advisory services to both internal and external clients.
PROPERTY ADMINISTRATION & MANAGEMENT
Within the scope of their mandate, a real estate manager’s main responsibility is to ensure the preservation and conservation of a building or real estate complex. Their missions have an administrative, financial and accounting dimension, and they may also be required to offer advice on how to obtain the best possible return on investment for the assets they manage, which may be either public or private.
TRANSACTIONS
As part of their work on transactions, a real estate manager might be called upon to estimate the value of a range of private, public, residential or commercial properties. In doing this, the manager takes into account the characteristics and location of the property in order to provide a valuation that is in line with market prices and in the best interests of their clients, according to whether they are buyers or sellers, private or professional.

Internships
Work-based learning forms an integral part of the programme of study on the Bachelor Real Estate Business Manager course. Internships offer students excellent opportunities to put into practice what they have learnt in the classroom, with each full-time period of study followed by a 3 to 6-month internship either in France or overseas.
YEAR 3 INTERNSHIP
At the end of their undergraduate programme, students can either choose to begin their business career with the guarantee of being hired on a permanent contract, thanks to our powerful corporate and alumni network, or pursue their studies specializing on one of our professional Masters degrees at ESPI. After 6 months of courses in the 1st semester of Year 3, students begin a 6-month programme of work-based learning on an internship. It is at this point that students will choose between two options according to their career project, as follows:
CORPORATE PARTNERS
Since 2008, our ‘Employment Contract Option’ partners on the Real Estate Business Manager programme (Foncia, Loiselet&Daigremont, Immo de France, Sergic and more recently, Oralia) have made a commitment to train and recruit our graduates in the field of real estate services, including: co-owned property management, management, transactions and negotiation. The objective of this partnership agreement is to train future employees in-house in order to enable them to develop the teams in their network of national estate agents. Considered to be a true probationary period, the 6-month internship offers our students the possibility of signing a full-time contract in one of these agencies upon graduation.
Double degree
ESPI has agreements with La Rochelle Business School (Excelia Group) and Université de Vivesin Belgium offering Year 3 Bachelor GESAI students the possibility of following a double degree programme. During this period, selected students either benefit from the expertise developed through La Rochelle’s Bachelor in Business (Sales & Marketing) or through the Bachelor in Business Management & Entrepreneurship at the Université de Vives. At the end of their final year, successful students will receive a qualification from two institutions.
- Develop a dual skill set
- Develop a managerial perspective
- Develop an open mind
