Our training mission:
We are committed to educating professionals to a high academic standard. Our graduates are operational, innovative and open to the world around them. We prepare our students to take up roles across the full range of professions in the real estate industry.
Innovation and research:
We aim to play an active role in the thinking and innovations that emerge from the sector at both a national and international level by participating in key projects, initiatives and partnerships with the top institutions and organisations within the real estate industry.
Our strategy (PARADIS):
Groupe ESPI has always worked closely with industry bodies and partner companies, guaranteeing our students a learning experience that is perfectly balanced between academic and professional learning approaches. Practical training periods, site visits, and company testimonials are organised throughout the programme of study, giving ESPI an outstanding presence in the world of real estate. Our partners come from all sectors of the industry and actively recruit our graduates for work in a wide range of professions.
In partnership with industry professionals, year after year ESPI develops new course modules that are increasingly adapted to the needs of companies. This is demonstrated by the fact that we have already signed 3 partnership agreements, which we hope will lead to further opportunities with new institutions. Groupe ESPI currently collaborates with Excelia Group La Rochelle and the Université de Vives in Belgium, offering our students the opportunity to obtain a dual degree qualification within just 1 year.
Groupe ESPI offers a undergraduate degree (BAC+3), which leads to a level II state-certified qualification in Real Estate Business Management. Since 2009, the course has been ranked 1st by SMBG for undergraduate degrees in the real estate category. Upon successful completion of the course, students also obtain the professional licence in the management, transaction and property management agent categories.

Groupe ESPI moves into Research and creates its own Scientific Committee. The ESPI2R Réflexions et Recherches Laboratory was launched in March 2017 and decided upon two areas of research in line with the specialisations taught at the school. These two areas of research are called respectively: ‘Regions, planning and new centralities’ and ‘Real estate, markets and environment’. The team of professors associated with ESPI2R is a multi-disciplinary one with the ambition to include economists, legal experts, urban planners and architects whose work comes within the scope of real estate, regions and regional development. The Laboratory’s work concentrates primarily on the development of real estate professions and products, linked to innovations in the sector driven by digitalisation and the ecological transition, and their consequences on the planning and organization of spaces. ESPI2R’s members naturally aim to collaborate with researchers based at our partner universities in France and Europe.
Founded in 1972, Groupe ESPI is recognised as an association under French Law. The school’s administrators meet on a regular basis to decide upon the main directions ESPI should take with regard to current events and trends in the real estate market. The Board of Directors meets every month to ensure that the areas of development decided upon are being implemented successfully. This year, the Group’s academic leadership team has introduced a new curriculum framework.
Following the opening of our Paris and Nantes campuses in 2006, Marseille in 2012 and Bordeaux in 2016, we continued our geographical development by locating campuses in Lyon and Montpellier at the start of the 2017 academic year. From a teaching perspective, one of the major developments at the school has been the creation of degree apprenticeship programmes. Innovative programmes of study combined with work release are the key to providing our students with a high quality academic and professional learning experience. This is perfectly illustrated by our graduate employment figures, 97% of whom are in full-time employment upon graduation. To support our students’ career projects, Groupe ESPI organises two private careers events with real estate business organisations: a Job Dating event specifically for work placement opportunities, and a Job Dating event dedicated to apprenticeships and graduate careers.
One of the key aspects of our development strategy has been us signing up to the ERASMUS charter. Groupe ESPI has also integrated further international dimensions into the curriculum framework by introducing modules such as ‘English for Real Estate’, ‘International Real Estate Current Affairs’, and ‘International Challenges & Opportunities’.
To support the development of Groupe ESPI, we have standardised the procedures and processes across our campuses to ensure coherence and cohesion. Our internal structure has been totally reviewed in order to meet the requirements of a growing number of students.
